Classical Reborn is my first film, created during my first year in animation. Given the prompt 'Something Comes Alive,' I saw an opportunity to create something special and made this film as a tribute to my parents. Growing up, my family always bonded over cars, and my dad’s BMW E30 holds a special place in my heart. Even as a child, too young to fully understand its significance, that car left a lasting impression on me. Reimagining it coming to life in the film was a way to honour those memories and the connection I share with my family. The car’s driver is a common starling—a small but meaningful nod to our family nickname, the Starlings, translated from the Lithuanian nickname of the bird, Špokas.
